PROJECT STATUS - Heart SENSE - JUNE
Heart Sense probe has successfully passed the last scheduled biocompatibility tests. National Medicines Institute has conducted a sensitization test according to ISO norm for medical devices. The results show that Heart Sense is almost undetectable for mammal immune system. It may be applied to the tissue for many days and gives no reaction.
Next, Heart Sense passed first electro-magnetic compatibility test. This study was performed with Heart Sense attached to cardiomonitor and cardiac stimulator as source of electric signal similar to this generated by human heart. This assembly was free from generating any dangerous electromagnetic field.
Last month, Heart Sense was presented on advanced technologies conference at CEZAMAT (Center for Advanced Materials and Technologies) in Warsaw.
